All right today I wore my first peacock item, an ecuadorian necklace, which is huge for me because I've never worn any necklace ever. I'm saw a lot of girls notice it but they didn't say anything (Im in HS btw), so I'm guessing it wasn't "peacocky" enough, but some of my friends did and said
"wats up with that fag thing"
and I responded with the neg I had prepared in case a girl asked me about it
"It's called style, u might want to get some."

it got a few laughs and I saved face, but then I began to think whether it was too harsh to use on girl?

Either way, it's a good repartee for guys trying to put you down about ur peacocking.

Too harsh for a girl. There are two key components to a neg: a positive and a negative. Yours is just mean and I don't think a positive would even balance it out.
