ok so i met this HB this past weekend and we talked for a sometime, found out that she works at hooters, loves fast cars and motorcycles, can fix cars (oil changes and such) and we are the same heritage (turkish, kinda rare) then later my friend and her 2 friends walked on the boardwalk and stuck our feet in the beach at night it was cold. so today i found her on facebook and commented her this is how the convo went:

me : HB!! Stay out of the beach girlll. Hope you didnt get hypothermia.

HB: hahaha yeah im staying away from the beach for awhile lol but heyyy whats up?

me: chillin. workin. in desperate need of an oil change

HB: Haha yeah I bet, I'm going to find a new job todayyyy

me: you quit you "waitress" job!? whats the matter, did daddy find out?? haha

HB: Haha no daddy didn't find out I just didn't wanna work there anymore

me: ahh i see. So your finally gonna pursue your dream of being a pro race car driver??

HB: Hahaha I will be maybee



now i left it at that for now. i was gonna keep it going by either asking what type of job she is looking for or say something like "hurry up and get that job so you can get that crotch rocket you so desperately want"


how did i do?

depending on how much interest she showed in you that weekend, how about just following up the joke about her dad finding out with a simple:

"we should meet sometime so you can tell me about the jobhunt "

or similar.

I'm assuming you're trying to get a day 2 with her

say something like "once you find that new job you can take me out to celebrate"

or something like that.

I think that you should be more "aggressive", stating a "we should meet" never worked for me. Invite her to join you on a specific date for whatever.
