I'm Impressed slick rick, at your knowledge regarding steroids and PCTs, etc. That isn't common knowledge. (At least not the pct part).

Creatine is safe (as far as we know -- extensive studies have never been concluded) but don't take more than 10g a day unless you're over 200 lbs.

Stay away from steroids. I don't care who says what about why they're ok. They're not. Plus, it's not hard to build muscle at all. No one needs steroids, really...

I would agree that nobody needs steroids 100%. I do however think that there are a lot of positive aspects overlooked. The media has brainwashed a lot of people into thinking steroids are dangerous and unnecessary but I believe when they are used responsibly they can be very beneficial. This is especially beneficial to the people who were not blessed with the greatest genetics. Not only can the steroids help the way they look on the outside, but also how they feel on the inside which is most important.

While I can't deny that you bring up good and valid points Slick, I personally would advise against them due to the long term damage that is generally done, specifically to the liver.

If you must have steroids, I advise something less damaging. It's called M-Drol. But it is imperative you cycle it with a PCT after, or you will grow boobs. PCT'ing isn't an option with steroids, its required and then some, period. Also required is a liver protection pill such as milk thistle. This is also not an option.

No one could have started with worse genetics than me as far as muscle went; I used to be 5'11 and 114 lbs. Just go to your doctor if you're overly thin, and ask for a prescription to the pill Periactin. (Ask for the generic version, far cheaper and same effectiveness). You will gain around 9 lbs a month if you take 6 pills a day. (It is a very safe pill -- just an anti histamine with powerful weight gain side effects).

I gained 30 lbs on periactin (all fat, however) and then went to the gym with creatine and transformed my body in about 3 months. If I could do it with my 114 lb origin without steroids, then who CAN'T?

M drol? Sounds like a pro hormone. Not really a steroid but that is the way they are marketed. I would agree that this would be a better route for TS because he is obviously a rookie in the gym. Notice how pro hormone companies make the names of their products similar to real steroids. ex.) M drol and anadrol.

The boob growing is called gynecomastia and occurs because steroids alter the ratio of testosterone vs estrogen in your body. Increased estrogen can result in increased body fat and gyno. You can combat this with an aromatase inhibitor (arimidex is my favorite). These products keep your estrogen to a minimum. The idea of the PCT (post cycle therapy) is to bring your hormones back to normal as quick as possible after you discontinue the use of steroids. When you get off steroids and don’t PCT you may lose a lot of your new muscle mass because your testosterone levels are very low.

Sorry for hijacking your thread TS. When talking to women I am successful when i take nothing they say seriously and act more important than them. They also respond well to teasing. I wouldn’t advise teasing the girl until you establish an emotional connection with her. After you have established a connection with her you are free to manipulate her.

Very good information slick rick.

And as for you Mac.... GNC isn't for the win. GNC blows. Overpriced garbage that you can get at bodybuilding.com for far cheaper, and far better products.

There is only one thing that I'll give GNC props for. Plain old Creatine Monohydrate. 5g per serving, 100 servings for only 15 bucks. Should last you either 50 or a full 100 days depending on how much you take a day. I use 10g a day but I am in the loading phase (the first 5 days). How much do you weigh and whats your height?

Hahaha you gotta be real with the chickens, they can sense if you're lying. According to evolutionary theory, womens "enhanced perception" has something to do with the fact that they are "designed" to be more selective about who they get with. As a result, they have a 6th sense of sorts.

I'm just thinking out loud though. But GNC really does blow. Don't go there ever again. I can find you anything you saw in GNC for a better price.

Do you want to lose weight and get toned? Or do you want to get buff

I have a ripped 6 pack, broad shoulders and a really built chest.... women love it. Creatine is harmless it just hydrates your muscles and gives you more endurance in the gym. Steroids won't turn you into a freak body builder. Those guys look like freaks because they have dedicated their life to looking that way. They train every day, take steroids and growth hormone non stop and eat 10 times as much as the average human.

I would only recommend steroids to an experienced lifter who is at least 22 yrs old. They have some adverse effects but the main side effect is that they absolutely work to improve your body. All those guys you see that are in those weight loss supplement ads are juice heads. I hate to break it to you but that is the reality. Using steroids also requires proper knowledge of cycling and PCT so the user needs to be educated as well before he starts juicing. There are ways to mitigate any side effects.

Ok this is hopefully going to be my last comment on this roid topic. I do not support roid users , I never did and never will. Yes they are indeed safer when used with a good knowledge of them but are you really saying that they are safe when used properly? Roids are prescripted meds and there's a good reason for that: it has serious side effects and it SHOULDN'T BE consumed by healthy people. I'm not even going to bother the pros and cons because they are illegal in sports.

I totally agree with this post, the point of working out is to get healthier, you toned body simply reflects that, honestly taking steroids is like taking the short cut, in the long run the guy who put in the effort and the hours will outpace the juicer in every way possible, its the law of nature my friend
