Unable to open at different place

Last night I went out to a club that I had never been to, I thought it was going to be the same thing for PU, but i tried a number of different openers and nobody would bite.

From two chicks fighting outside (which ironically there actually was one)
to grabing my ass. nothing was working they would answer and turn away, normally in other clubs it works but not this one. I don't know if it was the person i was hanging out with that made a difference or what.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

My guess would be your energy levels were not equal or higher than theirs.
