| Here's one I came up with, I've used it while I'm waiting in line, for a lecture, lab, whatever, which can be on a daily basis in university life. But, I'm not sure how much I like it.
SL: Have you ever played the stranger name game
HB: No?
SL: Its easy, have you ever noticed how some people look exactly like they should based on their name? All you have to do to is guess a strangers name based on how they look. You go first...
HB: You look like a...
SL: What! No way! My name is more manly then that! Guess again!
HB: *giggles* How about....
SL: Wrong! I'm.... Okay, my turn. You look like a...
HB: Nope! it's...
SL: Wow! That's very unique. What is that like Turkish or something? (Note: this one's not my line, credits go to the respective author Smile)
HB: *laughs*
SL: Wow, you're horrible at that game, you must be in physics...
Okay, so I've tested it a few times and got decent results. Since I need feedback for this I'm going to state what think about it first.
Pros: You get their name and possibly their major, its playful, negs
Cons: It seems kinda wierd, seems to escalate too fast
I also think a false time constraint is needed, but since I use it while waiting it can be assumed that you aren't going to be around for long.
Cheers,
Strange Loops
