So this girl's been "in the picture" for like 3 months now, very obvious sparks the first meeting, I resisted for AFC reasons(debt and crappy job), eventually thought I was rid of her, then bumped into her again where I couldn't not start talking because she was right next to the door. She started coming around my work again, fished for me to ask her out on the next to last day before college break, again I let the AFC worries stop me. A month out of work without unemployment gave me the grand oppurtunity to cultivate some nice oneitis.
Question is, should I bother making a play at this point? I saw her last week, and she wasn't ignoring me or staring daggers through me with another dude's tongue in her ear like I was expecting, then again I didn't do or say any of the stuff I planned to so not sure if it's just dead in the water.

It sounds like she is interested in you and you are playing hard to get. Be a man and ask her out so you can have your way with her!!

And also, having problems in your life, whatever they are, is not AFC!!! They are your issues and you are not an AFC. Everybody has some sort of problems to deal with and that is just a part of life. Do what you gotta do and take care of business.

So she came in again, which I guess is a good sign, or could just mean she likes the place I work. Comfort was there, rapport really wasn't. She studied alone for about 2 hours, and I kept flaking on asking her if she needed a break, needed more water, wanted to smoke a Black and Mild, basically didn't say anything, even though I went on lunch break while she was still sitting there. I've seen her 3 out of the 5 days I've been back, 2 of those times she's been alone, once talking to one of her girl friends. Gotten a hello every time, but no goodbyes yet. There's other girls I just drop right into it with, have no trouble approaching, could ask out without thinking twice, but oneitis is the name of the game right now. GFTOW?
