Karaoke last nite with this hb i'm trying to hook up with. I've known her sparingly for awhile, so i feel kinda friend zone, but i've only just recently reconnected. Anyway, she came out last nite and her mom and mom's friend came along. Everyone knows her mom is a psycho bi polar. Anyway, i'm doing Kino, run the "rings routine", and at some point, some other friends show up and her mom kinda goes a lil crazy.

I pull her aside and whisper, "yknow, i was totally going to ask you out on a date with me, but after seeing this, i'm not so sure" I really don't think she took it the wrong way, b/c it was in a c/f tone, but i'm just curious if you think it was too overboard? Or if i should never mention my plans for the future. Its kinda bugging me and any feedback would be great.

btw, the rest of the nite was cool, but i'm just trying to feel the waters about the whole friend zone thing.

I agree with Rye Lee; It's all about delivery. Hell, you could even tell her you want oral sex right in her face and get away with it, if your comfort is high enough and your saying it in a cocky funny way.
