Hey guys..

I have a question about getting into qualifying stage and getting the girls hooked..

I normally go in with an opener and banter, apply some kinos here ans there, then I start telling some DHV stories to get them laugh more... I can normally do this consistently without getting blown out. However, during the whole time, the girls are just listening and laughing but aren't contributing back.

So what's happening to me a lot is that right after I finish my DHV stories, I will go blank. I thought of stacking more stories, but it just seem wierd and I will look aimless.

I know from the back of my head that I need to some how get them hooked, and start qualifying my target. But since they aren't opened up to me yet, I can't do that..

So what can I do right after my DHV stories about me getting hit on by some gay dudes while I was separated from one of my girlfriends?

Can you guys please help me take it from there?

What's everyone's favorite topic? That's right, themselves. What does cold reading do? It lets you tell people about themselves and makes them think you're really insightful.

The cube is by far my favorite "canned" routine. I put "canned" in quotes because it's different almost every time. Girls tell me that it's great conversation and they say it because it's about THEM. You can't just be telling DHV stories all the time; the focus is just on YOU if you do that. You may be a player in this game, but she is too. In fact, she's your teammate. Tag her in sometime.

Do you suggest cold reading before or after some DHV stories? What can be some good cold reading stuff?

Also, what is a cube?

I am kinda new, so still trying to learn the jargons here..

That really shouldn't matter in my opinion. It's all attraction phase material anyway.
"The Cube" is a very popular routine. It's actually a real personality reading test made by psychologists.

I think the best way to remember the cube is to have the cube run on you, so I'm going to run the cube on you. Ready?

This is how I do the cube. There are a few other variations, though, such as having the flowers represent your children, but I like this way the best.

Imagine a blank scene like a desert. In this scene, there is a cube. How big is the cube?

In this scene, there is a ladder. Where is the ladder and how is it situated?

In this scene, there is a horse. Where is it in relation to everything else? Describe the horse.

In this scene, there are some flowers. Where are the flowers and what are they like?

In this scene, there is a storm. Where is the storm? What's the storm like? For example, is it like a hurricane or more like a light drizzle (Snoop dog's favorite kind of weather)?

Get back to me with your answers and I'll tell you what all this means.

Ok, so in attraction phase, if they don't seem hooked, should I go back and throw some more materials, more DHVs and cold reading until they hooked? In other words, would I be talking a lot during the initial interaction? Once they seem into it? What can be some good transitional stuff I can throw in and prepare to isolate target?

To the cube:

The ladder is right in the middle of the scene and it's situated on top of the hill pointing to the sky.

Horse is on the left side of the ladder. The horse is white, walking head down, looking for water. This horse looks strong and healthy,
apparently it knows what to do to get throu the desert.

In this scene, there are some flowers. Where are the flowers and what are they like?

Flowers are at the right lower corner of the scene, where the horse is heading towards. Flowers are purple, pretty small. If you see these kinda flowers in desert, it means the oasis is not very far.

what i meant was isnt the purpose is to end it with an interpretation or something or how does it end

Aw crap. Sorry for not responding sooner, guys. Threads in the Newbies section oftentimes get overlooked and drowned out and stuff. OK, here's the interpretation:

The size of the cube represents your ego. Your ego can fit ten people lol. Personally I'd say that's a pretty healthy size. Certainly not too small, but not too overbearing like a fucking hotel.

The ladder represents your aspirations in life. Since your ladder is in the middle of the scene, I'd say that you prioritize your goals really well. You're serious about your ambition. It's pointing to the sky, so I bet your attitude is oftentimes something like "the sky's the limit."

The horse represents your ideal partner. She's a thirsty white chick. lol jk. The color white represents purity so you're looking for a girl who has good intentions or a good heart... some element of innocence or a healing/nurturing kind of energy. It's looking for water and knows exactly where the oasis is, so your ideal partner must have quite a head on her shoulders - her drive and perseverance probably matches that of yours. I bet her ladder would be pointing up as well.

The flowers represent your friends. I don't know what to make of your small purple friends, but the fact that the horse is heading toward them symbolizes that you have friends who would welcome such a woman into your social circle... or maybe you think the friends that you have draw those kind of people in. Your ideal partner would like your friends. You see your friends as close to the oasis; you see them as a refreshing break from the chaos of life.

The storm represents your problems in life. You have no problems in life. Lucky fucker.

As for hooking, don't DHV more if you already did plenty of that. It's gonna come off as bragging and try-hard. Just try out the cold reading stuff. As for transitional stuff, if you can't transition with natural flowing conversation, just follow Juggler's advice: the best transition is no transition.

Most of the time I use it when I'm talking to her one-on-one, but you can still do it while other people are around. It can act as a DHV to her friends because they'll get all excited and scream "OMG THAT IS SO TRUE ABOUT YOU JULIE!!!" But I find it easier to keep the attention if it's in isolation.

By the way, look up other cold reading things, too. I will dread the day I sarge a chick who says "Yeah I already know the cube. Some guy did it to me the other night."

if you want her to qualify herself ask her
1)why she is special compared to any other girl ask her to name 3 qualitys and it cant be about her outlook.
2)if she is spontanous and let her tell a story to back it up
3)if she is adventurous and let her tell a story to back it up
