and i did but do i loose value in front of everybody?
am i just worrying too much?

If you deny a simple request it makes you look like an asshole, but that's only if you know them already. If you didn't know them and hadn't spoken to them before that, it's fine to make an excuse not to... "Sorry man, need to get back to my table before some chick steals my seat again" or whatever. But seriously, you're out at a club to enjoy yourself and you're worrying about whether or not it's OK to take a picture of someone when they give you a camera? Come on.

I just take this general outlook on things "I do whatever the fuck I want" Don't over analyze things.
Personally I would have turned the camera around and started taking awesome photos of myself then eventually taking a photo of whatever they asked you to take photos of.
