I was looking back at a lot of things that have happened between me and women/ girls and remembered being put in 2 interesting, yet similar situations.

1.) There was this girl I was interested in and our teacher said we could pick our partners. Instead of going with one of my friends I went to her and asked her to be my partner. She look surprised, yet happy and said "yes." Now I went over her house about 3-4 times to work on the project and we seemed to be hitting it off pretty well then towards the end of the project she said she had a movie and asked if i wanted to watch it with her. We just sat on the couch (ackwardly, not even really close together), watched it and nothing happened (her littlle brothers where there). The project came to an end and nothing happened...

2.) Fast forward to college, I get randomly assigned to do a project with this girl. We seem to have a good time and then towards the end of the project I go to her place to finish it up. Same thing happens!!! She says she has a movie and asks if i want to stay and watch it (in her dorm). I say sure... so she goes and lays on her bed and I just stay in my chair and watch it... It was an ackward situation again because her roomate was there and we all just watched to movie.

What would u have done? In retrospect, I feel like they were trying to tell me they were interested in me and that I should have asked them on a date...

We weren't that close to eachother in either situation. Should I have just climbed into the one girls bed with her while her roomate is in the same room? And should I have gotten up and sat next to the other girl while watching the movie?

That being said, I think you are right. I can talk to girls with the best of them but I am always somewhere in between Friends and more than friends... Its my biggest down fall.

For those situations, that probably would have been the best thing to do. Either that or make sure you sit down first (get on the bed first) and tell her "Come here" with a warm smile on your face.

What I really mean, though, is that you should have escalated kino throughout the entire time, every time you were with her face-to-face. I think the DiCarlo Escalation Ladder will help you out a buttload.

I just finished my first year at college, and I lived on campus and dealt with dorm life.
Honestly, dgaf about the roomate. If your target is into it, the kino wouldn't be weird for her. Best case scenario, it weirds out the roommate or they get the message and she leaves, isolating you two. Even if she doesn't leave, you still got the kino, which will her wishing you had been alone, which you could use to set up an additional meeting.
