Open
False time constraint
Neg to create comfort
DHV to attract
Do some kind of voodoo to create rapport
Hopefully close
I realise that it's not a precise art and that it needs to be flexible and adaptive, but I think it'd be good for us newbies to know the general direction we should head in...

At that point, after DHV, you can introduce a topic of discussion. Or, if you have been there for a bit, suggest a move to a different location. Or isolate the target. Or, do a dozen other things.
After your first DHV, the "Artist" part of Pickup Artist comes in, and the pattern branches off into dozens of possiblities. So the answer is, it's all up to you. _________________ -The good can never be measured, but the great can never be controlled-
