As a former nice guy turned semi-misogynist, i believe the reason nice guys fail shit tests is because they don't think about the motives behind a question. When a waitress asks you, "what will you be having today?" The only motive behind her question is to get you what you want so she gets a nice tip. She wants you to tell the truth otherwise she gets burned. When a girl asks, "would you fight another guy for me?" she isn't asking it because the situation is gonna pop up all of a sudden (most times). She's asking you this question to analyze you and get inside your head so she can fuck with you if you are insufficient to her or find out if you are of higher value than she is.

So nice guys, here's where I give you a tip, the answer matters, but not as much as the trouble she has to go to get it. So what I suggest doing is thinking before you speak. If she says something immediately think of what her motivation behind it is. Remember, she is hardly ever just trying to make small talk. After you have analyzed whether or not it is a shit test and u think it is ask, "why do you ask." Or neg her about being too curious. Call her out on it, without making it obvious. That will prevent her from making as many future shit tests because she'll notice she sounds retarded when she says "I don't know" or "I was just curious.'

Finally, you should make her work for the answer. Don't just spit it out because it makes it seem like you are seeking validation. When you seek validation you are an easy target and it lowers your value. Make sure your answer is certain, but not what she would expect to hear. Don't fall into the trap of saying what every guy would say all the time. Tell her, "No, I'm not sure I know what I've gotten myself into yet." If you tell her yes, she'll either think you are a liar or you are trying to impress her. by saying no you are saying that she is not so dear to you that you are swooning over her. If you are not certain what to answer to a shit test, change frame. Don't let her fuck with you, you are the prize.

Great post. I have failed many a shit test. I have slowly learning never give a straight up answer. There is no challenge for a woman when you give the immediate answer. Its boring to her. My problem was i would pass several of the initial shit tests, then once i have the girl, i start failing them. Subsequently they lose intrest and move on while i was stuck wondering how i failed.

Never give a woman what she wants when she wants it. Give her a taste of what she wants when she least expects it.
