I'm new to this whole pua thing, just found this stuff today.
So heres the deal...I'm a freshman in college and i have a huge crush down the hall from me (live in an apartment). She's in one of my classes and we talk a lot, but i think that she just wants to be friends. I'm not totally sure about this. A long time ago we kissed and then for some reason nothing spawned from that. Anyways, i thought i was over her and last night my buddies came up to visit me from back home and we partied with her and her friends. One of my friends made out with her out on the dancefloor. I thought i was over her, but i am not at all...i'm kind of losing my mind. My buddy didn't know i was into her so whatever, but what should i do? Try to forget about it or try to get the girl and reestablish a connection? Help me out guys

New to PUA... Here is a big rule. If you want the girl, go for the girl. What is the waorst that could happen. I would say you are going to have a hard time getting this going, speaking from experience, once you are just friends, it is very hard to get out of that. That doesn't mean it can't be done. I would say, sever communication to a point, in that time, read david deangelo's book "attraction isn't a choice" then, re-establish your communication and slowly re-invent yourself as DeAngelo instructs...

unfortunately i didn't read your reply till after i did something about it...i basically put myself out there and got the whole friend thing, as i kind of expected. At least i know now, right? But she did hint that there was some kind of connection (at least there was at one point at least) so i'm not totally convinced that she's over me. I'm thinkin i'll sever ties for now and follow your advice for later on...thanks a lot man
