I've learned that it's a great idea to take a girl to an intimate lounge for a date (preferably without dinner first), since this will most likely portray your intentions to the girl, and as long as she goes along with it, you know where it's headed. Also, if she's already accepting the idea, you can make your moves fairly quickly.

I was curious about the locations in NYC where it's a dim-lit, speakeasy, romantic lounge with couches, booths, and whatever else to get you two sitting right next to each other so things can escalate quickly. My budget is as small as most people living in the city; since I'm most likely buying the girl a drink or two, I would like the cocktails to be around $10-$13 max. I've tried to research it online, but have come a bit short on locations.

I found The Auction House and La Biblioteca to be suiting, but I have yet to check them out.

Can anyone name anymore? I want to check them all out before actually bringing a girl there.
