I'm gunna be honest. I really want to learn, but I also wouldn't mind making some new friends. Sometimes its hard to make such a big change in your life when you have your same friends there to judge you and question the changes you make in your life. Not saying I can't do it, its just really hard considering i'm also trying to deal with massive AA. I'm not trying to find love, or a relationship. I'm looking to improve my social skills and break down some serious fears. I know I will be a beast once I really get started and make it past my AA. It would just be great to have some cool people in the trenches with me to push me through those first steps.

Just hopped on this forum, but I already go out with an awesome group of guys here in Atlanta. We are the A-Team and we go out at least once a week (usually Thursdays) and we usually do a goal setting and sticking point session first and a break down afterwards to improve each others game. I can totally relate to you 100% I read the material, but have a tough time applying it. We are in the same boat. I'm not on here trying to find a wife or gf (though that would be cool!), but more to improve my social skills and meet some like minded individuals to make new friends with.
