For now... I can only said that is a pretty hard field... of course you can find foreigners that are much more open mind... but rome girl (much more than every other part of italy) are pretty hard to pick up...

I'm interested. I don't live in Rome but I often come there, as I like the city very much.
Why do you say that girls are hard to pick up? What is wrong with Roman girls?
(I know Italian girls are hard in general to pick up, I've tried in Milan and other places in Northern Italy, with some success, but it's hard to break the ice. I haven't really tried in Rome, so I would like to know.)
