However I have noticed one girl I walk by in the same hallway on the way to one of my classes. Sometimes it looks like shes in a rush to get to wherever shes going. The hall is usually a smaller hallway and I normally stand leaning against the wall listening to ipod. Any advice on how I can maybe get her attention or something with her. My only worry is if I approach her and do something stupid, I'm going to still see her walk by every time i have class, and I will feel embarassed or awkward. help a noob out

so she's seen you listening to your ipod in the hall on several occasions. right when you see her next time make eye contact and stop her and hand her your ipod. tell her to that you have however many minutes until class starts and you need a song to pump you up! make her find one!
if she isn't familiar with ipods then teach her how to turn the dial thingy
that is just an idea to make her think you're interesting and fun. how many people ask random people to pick what music they're listening to ?
just have fun with it and be confident. she should be the one worried about sounding stupid, not you!!
keep in mind this is only an idea to stop her and open. you will have to be cocky funny, etc,.. after the initial opening. don't just say "thanks" and let her walk away
ps: i hate itunes
