So this girl I work with (only see her every other weekend) requested to be my friend after I commented on a friends pic of her. I waited a couple days to accept it and what not. After accepting it I sent her a message.

Me: Man I was gonna request to be your friend too but since you beat me to it...I guess I was too irresistible and you couldn't wait. Anxious much?

Her: hahah it had to be done lol i always see you at work and you never even say hi whats that all about lol.

I'm usually busy at work, hence not having a chance to say "hey" or anything.

Just wondering about some ways to respond to her message and also ways to approach her at work. Been out of the game for around 2 years and I'm just starting to get back in so some pointers would be awesome.

"Yeah, I know; my friends seem to stop

Make sure you have the "lol " so that you
don't think that you're a jerk hahaha.

I don't know if I would have told her you were going to request her back. Her going after you is an IOI; you saying you were going to do the same cancels that out in my opinion.

Oh that part after her response wasn't my response. Was just explaining a bit why I can't usually talk to her to you guys. I haven't sent anything back yet.
I was thinking the same thing in terms of response. Like "I'm always talking to my friends or helping the guys in the shop so I'm really busy during the day." I like that last part you suggested though.

Haha I only work on the weekends and shes only there every other weekend. So I don't see her much. We work in different places (but the buildings are connected) so if something bad would happen it wouldn't matter anyway.
