I'm new here but I have been and admirer. I'm starting to come out of oneitis and find that doing the techniques/help suggested here have helped alot. For now I have one question:

When I girl says, "You have pretty eyes" how/what would be the best way to respond?

Luckly for me I work at a grocrey store and I get this compliment at least twice a day or more! It usually comes up one time or another during a conversation. How would most of you handle this? I really don't have a whole lot to say when I'm told that cept "you to" or "I was just about to say the same about you" or "I know!" lol I need some thing that won't kill the conversation.

yah I really dont want to come off to cocky/insult people. On the other hand just saying "thanks" pretty much screams dead end convo.

I really want something that will turn it around into a convo and possibly #close.

I've tried the "I Know" response and that was a hit or a miss most times.

Yeah, I've gotten lucky with it, but I knew there were better.

i just say thanks and quickly change the subject. it works most of the time if you know where to go next. but there are really good answers already posted.

What's working isn't what you are doing there, its what you are saying next, because you just ignored that whole possibility of trading some flirty negs.
