my freind and i both have recently pickup the book "Mystery Method - The Venusian Arts Handbook" we are reading and discussing it together as we read and are almost finished with it.

we are both freshmen in college and 18 years old, which book after this one will benefit us the most? the mystery method is great stuff, unfortunately we haven't really made are way to the clubs yet, much of the techniques can be carried over to parties or normal social situations, so the info is very useful.

so far we have been using are readings mostly to pickup on IOIs and trying to increase our DHVs. its working well but is there a book more suited for us?

so which would you recommended?

Try Juggler's E-book... or even get a copy of Neil Strauss' book "the Game"... it's a well written book that may be easier to follow than, mystery method.

I'm trying to find some books that aren't written by MPUAs, but are what the MPUAs read to develop their methods. Some stuff on psychology and maybe a bit of NLP (nothing on hypnotizing women though, as far as I'm concerned that's rape). Anyone have some suggestions?

"Introducing NLP: Psychological Skills for understanding and influencing people" by Joseph O' Connor and John Seymour is a really good one. In fact I think Style read this one.

Try looking for books on interpersonal communication... Leadership.... History... become educated. One word of warning, books on leadership and interpersonal communication you'll find that there is no right or wrong answer, because it's an evolving science. So read it with alot of objectivity.

One of the best things a new person to the P.U.A. community can do is buying the book, "the Game". this is because the book brings you into the culture, and it's very easy to read through, then maybe later, you can go on to more complicated stuff like Venusian arts and so on and so forth.

You don't really pay attention to other posts do you?

Fantastic read, and sets you up to put on the type of persona you read about in the book. Very poetic to say the least, so at least you'll enjoy reading it, even if you get nothing from it.

Alright, I'm picking up Introducing NLP tomorrow and gonna give that a read. I'd also recommend checking out a book my sister sent to me called Why Is Sex Fun? by Jared Diamond. It doesn't talk so much about sex as it does the psychology and the evolution of why humans have our sexual traits that are completely different from any other of the 30 million species on the planet. I've only gotten a couple pages into chapter 2 cause I've been so busy, but its pretty interesting stuff.

I have spent the past 10 years looking at massive amounts of videos, literature tv shows and listening to radio shows on how to please women, but I'm still gonna order this book, because if it holds a fraction of the information that it claims (if it even teaches me 5 new things, which would be the first time in a long time any one source has taught me that much about sex) then it will be worth the $20. Thanks Ashley!

I hope you enjoy it Ryan-- the material is really awesome (kind of crazy some times) but awesome nonetheless.
