simply walking away like she was never there to begin with is wrong on ohh so many levels. it makes them mad at you, its a "douche" move, it shows insecurity/anger/frustration with you, all things you are NOT wanting to display.
my suggestion: when she stops and talks to him, stand next to her smile, introduce yoruself. 9 times out of 10 she will introduce me to the guy, if not, i make a quip "Well, since no one else is going to introduce me: Hi. names David" with an upbeat joking tone and a smile.
this lets you get into the conversation, shows that your not threatened by other men (Beta males) and shows a strong upbeat attitude.
once you do that, just make conversation with him just like she is. become part of the conversation. obviously you cant sit there like hes ur best friend since she knows him better, but it allows you to be part of the group, shows great character and dominance, and doesnt leave you hanging
I liked everything up until trying to join into the conversation. It might be hard to join into the conversation if they are talking about a subject you aren't necessarily knowledgeable about...like what they did the other day, or what happened in a class they might share.
What I normally do is go with a quick introduction, give some quick back and forth banter with the guy and then excuse myself stating that I'll catch up with her later. Then when you walk away you won't be seen as someone who is insecure, you introduced yourself, were polite, and then excused yourself from the conversation of two friends so that they can catch up. You are secure enough to make contact with the other man, and then secure enough to allow them their space. Both good qualities, also while walking away you might as well start gaming another girl about 60 yards away, or send some text messages and start laughing while you are walking off and reading the text messages. You are always having fun, with or without her, remember this...
