Hey. Id appreciate some advice from you guys. Theres a HB 8 in my class in college. The first class was today and I think its also her first week of college. The classes are very small in my college and there are abt 20 people in this one. I noticed her as soon as I walked in and sat down in the same row as her but one chair away. I opened with a "hey this is (insert class name here) right?" (Probably not the best opener) but she simply said yes it is with a half smile and then got back to texting on her phone. The class started after this and when it ended I simply left without attempting to say anything more. What would be the best way for me to tackle the situation the next class which is in abt 4 days?
