The first step for me (and im still working on it) was to overcome the fear of the approach. Its always there and as mystery put it: never goes away. You just become better at it and approaching and oppening a girl is more natural. I'm not saying u should learn as many openers as u can by heart and just walk around like a social robot. Keep cool mabey have an opener or even better 2 and then try to adjust your patterns and routines to the girl. I think u still have to be spontanoius and eleborate on the situation. Cocky Funny is great to get the girl in the right state of mind, but remember once u started u gotta keep it up. If u see a girl in the club use her as test dumby and try something new: personal. A lot of AFC's are reading the book and using the same pattrens could back fire on you.

i know exactly what your saying. ive been sarging recently and thats the bigest thing for me is the approach. i feel that if you dont follow the 3 second rule your done for. once you see a chick if you hesitate and she sees that theres no use trying to hit on her later. just look around some more and move on.
openers are key though
peace

I was approaching some girls today and I fiugured out how freaking important it is to have good body positioning (i was so stupid to throw a line to a girl that was just crossing the street on the opposite direction) and voice tone. sometimes they just won't hear unless you say it pretty damm clear or even say a quick hi first. I am really looking forward to practice lots of approaches.

The heart starts beating faster as you walk up to a set and you try figuring out what you are gonna use to open. I am starting to enjoy it. I can't wait till its like a hunt for me.

The intensity and the fun is overwhelming. Usually at the end of a PU, I feel like I can crush any set and just steal girls away from their friends!
