only one problem... this girl isn't comfortable with kino... when I tried to hug her she'd just gently move away... unless i grabbed her by the elbow to physically move her she would resist....

also, she would be with crossed arms and legs all the way trough the first date...

Sounds like you didn't kino escalate properly.

You can never expect to get a k-close if you haven't already worked your way up through touching her arm, shoulder, and at least small of back FIRST. It's too much of a sharp transition. Try to ingrain the 3-kinos in 1-minute rule into your interactions, it'll make escalation a whole lot easier.

The closed-off body language sounds like she wasn't really that into you, but was just being polite and nice. I wasn't there so I can't say for sure, but it sounds like it. Work on building attraction through rapport breaks (or negs), DHVing, and getting her to qualify herself.
