So I meet all these hotties at school and get their numbers. I Always text them later that night. Is it possible that making the first contact a phone call would that be more meaningful? I feel I'm ruining all these perfect situations by maybe sounding a little bit desperate. I feel like they always have an excuse not to chill. Or maybe I'm just being paranoid. So I ask if they would be down another night on and on and on. Some still sound interested but with all these numbers I get only two are still wanting to go out .

This has been a sticking point for me as well. I realised that it's not the call or text that is going to make the difference, but the conversation you had when taking her nr. It's most important to focus on that. After you get the nr. it doesn't matter if you text them or call them.

I do it different. After I had the conversation I ask them for their facebooks. I add her the next evening (write a message in the invitation). She can now see my profile and see what an interesting guy I am. A day or two after they added I send them a message. So far it has always worked for me and I most of my dates I arranged by facebook.

I agree with pope, it doesn't matter, every girl will have a different reaction to different things you say to different tones you use. Just vary it up and have fun with it. When I feel like sparks have died a little, I love to use this text msg line:
