There's a girl in my english class I want to date. I just need help with a good opener - I've talked with her a few times, but only class discussions and such.

I have black nails, play guitar, sing, do magic tricks, and am usually very outgoing - if that helps.

She had a recent theater performance. It was VERY good, but i'm not sure complimenting her on it would be a good idea. I want to qualify her, not the other way around.

I want to start a conversation with her THAT WILL LAST.


I'll be more specific if I need to. Any suggestions for good openers to use?

Firstly you must figure out what type of openner you will need.
If she is around friends or a group, choose an indirect openner and weave your way through that process.
If she is alone, maybe try a combination of direct and indirect openning.

The secret to a good openner is asking a question that evokes emotion.
After that secret, the other secret is working on approach anxiety. Do not over analyze, "is she worth it?" "I can't come up with anything, so I'll just sit here and send out the vibe..."

Some great openners are a bit case-specific.
If she is really hot, HB9 - 10, you can try Mystery's line.
Line one for HB10's
"Do you wanna know why you suck?"
Every time a girl hears that, she has to know. She never says "F**k off!! I don't care what you think."
You reply, "I've been sitting in this classroom wanting to talk to you, but you've been Ms. Popular all day talking to a everybody and I havn't had a chance to talk to you. That's why you suck. Now tell me why I have an urge to talk to you?"

Line 2 for HB9's (this is one I've been working on. I like it cause it builds conspirators comfort. Talking about how they hate skanks, or hate prudes).
"Hey, I was wondering if I could get your input on something. I was talking with my friends last night about a very important topic, and we all need a women's opinion. Ready? Promiscuity aside, what is the difference between a bad girl and a good girl. Meaning...what makes a girl a 'bad girl' or a 'good girl'?"

Line 3 for HB8's
"[Basic build up openning] If you had a boyfriend would you allow him to talk to his ex? What if they dated for a really long time? Here's the kicker: What if he kept a box of notes and pictures under the bed? Would you demand to supervise if they wanted to meet up?"

Be natural, confident, and charming.
Always smile during an openning because it is less threatening.
