I went out last night and thought to myself tonight I'm just going to go for it and try some Pick Up techniques and see what happens. I was with a buddy of mine and after a few drinks I saw two very attractive girls and went to walk past, looked over my shoulder and said "Girls can I ask you a quick question, would you trust a guy who wears brown shoes?" Might sound crap now but its the first thing that came into my head and I was wearing brown shoes so I thought it was quite a good idea. The one girl replied " Yeah I guess" and her friend pointed to her boots and said "I wear brown shoes." I replied with " Well should I trust you then" and she told me "No you shouldnt because im dangerous to be with" in a flirty/funny kind of way! I thought GREAT! I wanted to hit on her friend more than her so I had my back to her friend whilst I was talking to her. And then BLANK, my mind just went blank and I didnt know what to say next so I began with the usual crap such as oh how old are you, where do you go to school, what do you study blah blah blah and it just fizzled out and I didnt know where to take it so I just said well it was nice meeting you girls and walked off. I approached another 4 girls after this and my line walked brilliantly on all of them except for one who was playing very hard to get but I enjoyed it! I found out its must easier to approach girls after you have approached the first one of the night! I just need some advice on what to do when my mind goes blank and some good ways to continue the convo after Ive opened!

Oh well my first night wasnt successful.. but ile make sure my second night is.

This is why you think of a couple of stories beforehand, so you don't "blank out". It doesn't even have to be anything meaningful, just think of some stories before hand and keep them entertained. I'm sure you can think of something good to go with your opener.

Ask for phone numbers etc, the obvious.

For a first timer you did what about 80% fail on this forum-you went out tried, spoke to lots of girls and failed.

When I first started the game I used all the canned lines from The Game, Mystery etc and the stories etc, this helped me to learn how girls react to them, what to look out for and then when I could hold decent conversations that excited the girls so much they would lose there shit through curiosity at what I was saying I would try using my own material, watch it fail and think it failed because I couldn't say anything next so the next day I would try to think of how I could continue that point, and analyse girls answers to that questions.

Now I just use natural game as have good awareness at girls body language, what they say and do not rely on lines I just make them up as I go.
