Situation: You set up a date with girl for later in the week. That day you contact her and you get confirmation of date to happen later that night.

her " i cant until 10 at earliest probably later"
me "ok lets just rent a movie then"
her "ok "
me "call me when you get off work or w/e you're doing"

and you never hear from them. This has happened twice recently with the same girl. The first time she called me the next day to set up something different without appologizing for never calling. Do you think it's the guys responsibility to check back in instead of just waiting it out and never getting the call?

If you treat her like shes the only thing you've got going, shes in the position of power. If you treat her like your the cashier of love and shes just another customer getting rung up, then you are in control because you just move on to the next customer in line! No but seriously, I don't jive on girls standing me up. I've got better things to do with my time!

What's the best thing to do in a situation like that?

Ignoring her and moving on will not probably get you a date with her after all.
How do you behave, so she knows, that she shouldn't do it again?

Have a plan B even the first plan didnt go throught go with the second one. Dont revolve your night over this one girl. Have other girls you can hang out with. Flakes will always be flakes but dont let that ruin your night. Remember its not the girl you are trying to please.. its yourself! So dont punish yourself just because she was the one who flakes.
