going to a UK music festival soon.. Obviously a great place to chat to hundreds of girls (especially in the campsites where everyone is chilled and open minded).

Any ideas for for openers, routines and closing tactics? Anything to make me stand out from the thousands of AFC's wondering around!

You don't need to be using openers and routines and closing tactics, etc. It's a music festival, just have great energy, have fun, be social. If you need to find routines, stick to short ones - people are there for the music, the energy, the vibe, not for the conversation.

I was at a festival/social gathering last night. It was an outdoor/indoor event. Lots of ppl, beer, women, live band...etc. I FAILED MISERABLY with this one girl. My buddy was working security at the gate..checking ID's and shit, so i hung with him since thats where all the action was, ppl standing up there..etc. I turned arond and this cute ass girl was behind me to her side looking at something, then turned to pass me and a HUGE smile and EC. She proceded with her friend, and they stopped about 40 ft from me and stood there, she kept looking at me and I maintanied EC. Yes i froze!! I would go back to the table where my party was at, and she purposly walked by us and instant EC. Why didnt I appraoch? I have no fucking idea! I kept telling myself "wait til shes standing alone somewhere and and go for it" So I kept hesitating, until she finally disappeared into the night, it was getting dark out, and I think she was camping in the campground next door (lots of ppl were coming/going) By the time I had the balls to do it, i could not find her. So Im replaying it all in my head and I feel like shit this morning....

Yup certainly agree that you've got to be fun and social. The only problem is everybody is being fun and social at a music festival. (at previous festivals I have been very social with friends but had little success with women!)

I understand the point to pickup artistry is to stand out from the crowds? I was thinking on the lines of routines like the cube, the 5 lies game, cold reading etc that will make conversation more interesting than asking "who is your favourite band?" etc. Think it would be the perfect time to use this kind of stuff!

Henning: bad luck henning, think this is a frustrating situation we've all been in! I guess Mystery's advice would be to approach straight away without thinking. He calls it the 3 second rule. If you approach within 3 seconds you won't talk yourself out of it, you won't end up looking like an AFC staring too much and you won't lose her! (in theory)
