I got my friend to be my pivot...but now I don't know what to do. How do I tell her to proceed? Yes, I know the rule is women always want what they can't have...but if she looks like she is TOO into me, wouldn't that backfire on me? Need some advice on the guidelines I should give her.

She just has to like you and have fun with you, showing that women are able to do that in your presence. If she acts like she's into you, then all the better; girls love stealing men away from other girls. If you would prefer to avoid the line of questioning that goes "Wasn't she your girlfriend?" then just stay friendly with her. Preselection doesn't need to have a sexual energy. Your target just needs to know that other women find you worth hanging out with.

What I mean is: what kind of guidelines should my pivot follow? I imagine things like walking arm in arm, holding my hand, leaning in close to me when I'm talking, or even putting her arm around me when we're sitting down somewhere...but is there a line to be drawn? Is there such a thing as showing so much interest that the other females think it wouldn't be worth it to interfere?

Never know until you try right? Try a number of different things and make notes about what works what doesn't.

Actually your pivot doesn't need to do anything just as long as she's having fun with you and other women see that she having a good time with you. That alone will raise your value. Your pivot is your tool to help you hook other women. Why in the hell would you want to be seen holding her hand and all hugged up on her?!?!. You plan on opening up sets with her holding your hand that will have negative consequences on your game. You need to get rid of those imaginary thoughts. Well, she isn't...I was just asking what the plan for the evening shoul be and throwing out ideas. Having never had a pivot before, I didn't know what to do or expect.

The only time your pivot needs to do anything other than hang out and have fun with you is if one of the girls in the set asks her a question. Then she talks you up a bit. If she needs a part to play, she's your ex-girlfriend, you're the best sex she ever had, you're a super-nice guy, everything was great, but you don't do exclusive and she got jealous so it didn't work out.
