how is 7.5 average, since it's HB it ranges from 5 (who can still be hot) to 10 (which is very hot) so that makes average 7.5?

yeah, i guess you could look at it that way. I have always just kinda though of it like this: If a 10 is perfection, then a 9 is a really hot chick, which makes an 8 an attractive girl, which means a 7 is just ok, which means a 6 is bellow ok, and that makes a 5 way bellow ok. Anything under a 6 (5 i guess if your either under the influence or just trying to rack up your numbers) should just be ignored.

i like things to make sense, hence why i'm so addicted to the game in only my first week involved.

i've made great progress, successfully number closed three girls, one at a party, two who i knew from parties and added on msn.

this weekend will be my first real weekend of the game, looking forward to it.

5 is considered average in the sense that the average person is ugly. So a girl that is good looking can't be considered a 5 since the average person is not good looking. They may be average compared to a gorgeous girl but that is why they are an 8 and the gorgeous girl is a 9.

It wasn't PUAs in general, it was certain PUAs on certain forums that came up with these terms. These terms just got popularized because of "The Game". There is no concrete scale on which to judge women. One man's hb9 is another man's UG1 and vice versa. You'll find that as you begin to interact with more women you will find that each woman is sexy in their own unique way. Each one has something awesome about them and something terrible about them. I've been attracted to a lot of women for a lot of reasons. Some women are hot simply because they are so cool to be around. Some women are hot because they are wild, or funny, or flirtatious, or kinda weird in a cool way. And this has nothing to do with looks. But it does affect the way you perceive their looks. When you really like someone, you don't see all their physical imperfections. But when you hate someone, you start looking for flaws.

Even regardless of everything I just said. As you approach more women and begin to feel like you can approach "better" women, your scale will naturally shift. Your idea of average will shift closer and closer toward your "10" as you begin to feel like you "10" is closer within reach. Pretty soon your average will consist of women you used to think were way out of your league.
