Hey, guys. So I went out for my first attempt at opening the other night and I ended up talking to a couple of girls, but I had a problem. There were a few times when I ran out of things to say for a moment (I'm working on it) but when I did think of something to say, I didn't want to because I've learned that A) if she resumes the conversation, that's an IOI, so I wanted to give them a chance to that and B) I was worried that if I resumed the conversation, it would look like I was the one doing the chasing instead of making them chase me. Is it always bad form for the guy to resume the conversation after a lull. I know I gotta work on preventing lulls in the first place, but until I get that down, is it okay for ME to start a new thread when another one withers and dies? Thanks.
