So one of the sets I opened last night I had a problem with. I opened with my usual opener. "If a girl hooks up with a girl is it cheating" This opener usually hooks really well. I said it then I realized that I couldn't think of what to say next! I know this is a little much but could someone give me like a few minutes of conversation to use, I can never find the right opportunity to neg. So if someone could give me some convo to use and maybe a routine to stack to that they use that would be so cool! The conversation almost always goes the same:

Me: Hey guys I need an opinion on something
HBs: Yea?
Me: Ok so if a girl goes into a bar and hooks up with a guy that's cheating right?
HB: She has a boyfriend?
HB:Yea obviously! (Maybe theres a good neg to throw in her but I can't think of anything!)
Me: Ok ok. But if a girl goes to a bar and hooks up with a girl is that cheating?
HBs:No thats not cheating! blah blah blah
Me: Cause this girl my friend is dating keep doing this, he's really mad.
HBs: Maybe she's a lesebian blah blah blah (Thread is getting old by now)

That's how it always goes

So...where to go now?

Nowhere. Be yourself, if you don't have anything to say, then leave. If you will read some lines here, you will forget at least half of them and the situation is each time different. Don't use lines from the internet, cause yours looks like that, just think about something you wanna ask them, something simple, go and ask, talk a bit, and you will see, if they like you, you'll see that and the conversation will go without a thinking

This is my sticking point too. Once you've overcome AE and opened a set which responds positively, what then?

And to make it worse, in the beginning you are supposed to bring like 90% of the conversation to the table! (Jugglers 90-10 rule).
My steps for getting further are as follows (NOTE: These steps are undertaken at the moment, I can't tell you if it works or not, but this is how I plan to go forward):

Read Jugglers Conversational Jujitsu: A great book, not so much on WHAT to talk about, but how to talk about things, it's filled with great knowledge and interesting facts.

Start Online gaming: This is great, you can have conversations with women without having to make up a reply on the spot! You can guide the conversation at your own pace and it will be great practice for the field when you have to make up things alot quicker.

Go to the library: To have something to talk about, you have to have something to talk about. Read books on a variety of subjects, not only will this fill your head with interesting knowledge books will engage your imagination and increase your vocabulary.

Learn some routines: The rings routine, the cube, five questions game.. Try to learn these so you can bring them up in conversation (Hey, I have to show you something cool!).

Stories from your own life: I've dug up a few stories from my own life, rewritten then and are currently rehearsing them (in front of a mirror no less!).

Keep up with current events: From now on I try to read atleast one newspaper per day. Pay attention to articles that may appeal to girls

Talk to people: Girls = People. So therefore, if I talk to my mates, my teacher, my boss, my colleges, my mom, my sister etc etc I should become more confident talking to girls.

Somewhere on the forum is a post describing 3 fail safe topics to fall back on.. I can't find it though, anybody care to post a link?

ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT. I have been gaming for quite a while now, and I will tell you the flat out truth. Absolute bullshit. What you say does NOT matter. Therefore why. Are you guys worring about what to say? GUYS, these girls aren't paying ANY attention to what you are saying! lol. No. They are watching how you present yourself, your overall body language, eye contact, you guys need to work on your inner game and your body language.....

Let me tell the both of you something. About 4 days or so ago, Im in Wally world, right? So, Im sitting down on the computer doing an application for employment. Ok, I see this very cute girl. She is what, 25 ft away from me. I stare into her eyes, then she looks at me and looks away fairly quickly, seeing that I am indeed a confident man, (confident men NEVER turn eyes away first) I look into her eyes again, (im doing it softly) she looks back and stares into my eyes longer. and looks down and smiles. At this point guys, I have the attraction down. (simple as that! no routines, no DHV or whatever the fuck)... So I do it once more, I make some more eye contact, at this point, I smile, and she gives me a BIG smile. Very deep connection. Guys the rest is history. Point is, AT that point, I could have gone by her and said "boo!" or "mmmm", or ANYTHING, and She is wanting me. And thats exactly what i said. "boo!" Its not about what you fucking say guys. Its what you do, and how you present yourself.

Now imagine doing what I did, compared to some retarded pick up artist that gets approach anxiety, I ONLY HAD APPROACH ANXIETY WHEN I WAS DOING ROUTINES AND REMEMBERING CANNED CRAP ALMOST 2 YEARS AGO!
