"Hi" In a high school situation openers aren't needed all too much. But if you do feel like using one, I'd suggest Romeo7's "Would I make a good boyfriend" routine. Or you could just ask her any opinion for that matter, "what do you think of that test?" etc. Just remember, High School pickup is much different from "real world" pickup. Gain some social proof and she'll take notice of you.

High school??... oh shit, that was long ago for me, bearing in mind im 27.

I was a real cheesedog in high school but always got the chick. My idea was to be a gutsy romantic that would sacrafice my rep by doing something nuts!

Like, find out her classes and if you cross paths, then, go buy a rose and just approach, hand it straight to her, infront of mates, your mates ANYONE and say...
"Im real sorry, but its something i REALLY HAD TO DO"

Its high school so there aint gonna be much GAME. She will get the message you like her and if she is single....then..good.

Plus, her mates will be all "Awwww...thats so sweet" and your mates will be like "Dude! your fucking gay!" lol, until they actually realise that they dont have balls to do some shit!

I liked a girl that worked in one of the Clothes stores in the City and never even spoken to her but she was hot. an 8. (and big boobies, i Looooove boobies).... anyway...

My mates were all like "Dude, what ya gonna do?" So, i walked into the next shop, a gift shop, and bought a small stuffed puppy. Got a little card and put my name and number on it with the message "Can i come home with you??"

I walked right upto her, handed her the puppy with the card around its neck and said "This little dude is lost, and you looked nice enough to take him" I smiled and walked off.

She text me that night and i F-Closed in the backseat of her car!! lol.

I don't know about the whole rose/present thing. I'm still in High School and to me, that seems AFCish. Unless you have a very strong social proof I wouldn't go for that.

imma take that idea, about the whole dog thing. its 'sweet' lol.

find out where her locker is, and just start up a convo while she is putting her books away. if she is one of those 'super popular girls', this will take her by surprise, as no one really approaches her with confidence. that alone will take the cake. keep it short, and number close, or email or facebook/myspace these days....

thats how it starts.

I'd do something else: go to her class during maths, or something like that, knock the door, enter and say "X [her name] is called for at the teachers' room". Then, you talk to her for 5 minutes and let her go back. That is, if you desperately want to do something out of the ordinary.

If you don't mind acting like a normal dude, just go to her and say "What's up, I saw you around and I wanted to get to know you". If you can do it the right way, things should be smooth after that.
