Okay... I searched for this one, but didn't find anything that I think is relevant. I'm fairly new to The Game, so bare with me.

so here I am in Europe, working on a campsite which is one of the major tourgroup stops for the area and has an average of 200 (some nights 50, some nights 400) backpackers all aged 18-25 through a night.

I work in another area of the campsite, but my job at night is to take photos in the bar (there's a great opener.. "Hey guys, how about you all pose for a photo for the website?").

Getting to the point, myself and the other guys are sometimes having difficulty closing because we get girls saying to us "So how many girls have you done this with?" ... they know we've been here a few months.. they know there are drunk young backpackers through every night.

The other night I got "I know what you're like.. you come here every night, drink a lot, then take lots of girls home".

So far, the only responses we've been able to come up with are:
1) "Well, I've only been working here a week" (it's not lying, it's flirting)
and
2) "Sure, there are a lot of hot girls coming through here, but of all the girls I could have been talking to tonight, I'm here now with you.

With 1), you can even set it up before they ask you how many girls you've been with, because we know the pattern. As soon as the girl asks you how long you've been working here, you know what they really want to know is if you've slept with a lot of women here.

With 2), it hasn't really worked the couple of times I've used it. I'm trying to disarm them from thinking I'm a dirty sleaze.

Anyone got better suggestions?

i'd take it as an IOI/shit test, its like ther tryin to see how you react to what there saying. they want to see if you get defensive over it, if you do tehn your qualiying yourself to there questions. like your doin somethin wrong..

I think you misunderstood what I said a little...

The "how many girls have you done this with" occurs when we've already been talking to the girl all night and are trying to close.. going for the kiss-close, or when we've location-shifted back to our cabin, etc. They basically accuse us of having slept with a different girl each night (in some cases true, I suppose).

Having thought about it, I suppose another good way to disarm it would be simply to do a fake takeaway.. turn on the lights, turn off the music, etc. - "You have be prepared to lose the girl to get the girl"

However, your reply HAS been helpful... While asking people if they want their photo taken is a good opener, it also generates a lot of hostility - particularly because we have a rule whereby girls can show their breasts in the bar and get it put on the bar website (only in Europe!). Tour managers warn the girls of this and the girls then wrongly assume that when I ask them if they want a photo taken that this is what I'm after.

The conversation generally goes like this:
"Hey guys, did you want to take a photo for the website?"
"I'm not showing you my tits" <angry face>

At which point I've been lost for words... you try to deny it and you look worse... you go with it and you confirm their suspicions.

The best I've come up with to disarm to date has been the neg in an aside to her friend "wow, she just assumes everyone wants to check her tits out doesn't she?" ... but your "hard to find someone that you can talk to" is good... very easy to adapt to this situation, where I can say "sure you're good looking, but there are 1000 good looking girls through here a week".
