I've been talking to this HB for a while now, gotten to know her pretty intimately. However she's hung up on her ex. understandable especially coz she was with him for over 4 years, so a piece of her is forever going to be iwth him.

My question is, do boyfriend destroyer's apply to the ex's aswell? I'm trying to create another chapter in her life, and not try to draw any reference to her previous boyfriends. I've told her, " I understand your ex is going to hold a special place in your heart. But dont put me and him in direct competition for that position in your heart, It's unfair on me... unfair on you... and especially unfair on this "thing" you and i have at the moment...". Now I have a feeling this may have sounded AFC... am I steering affecting her view of me postively or have I, by saying not to compare me with the ex, put myself in direct comparison with him?

is abit AFC if ur not togethe rbut it shows ur not intimidated by the situation coz u brought it up, dnt dwel on it if she's talkin bout her BF, bring it up as a shit test. at the end of the day bottom line their not together now and if you think she likes you then it shouldnt be a problem
