well theres alot of good on this site and basicly looking for any suggestions on the easiest way to pick a direction to take a convo after an opener say if your not ready and get opend 2ce in less the 2 min by the same HB hahaha most i managed to get was:
Her: Hey im trying to get to .... station
(me with earphones in both ears standing at a platform haha yes i know being unaproachable isnt a good thing)
Me: look her in the eyes and simply say what.
Her: trying to get to **** station.
Me: some lame responce about thats about the 4th one up the line to the NE. you want the next train.
end first open as i followed up with nada.
Her: so i want the next train its about how far up?
Me: yeah the stations about 4th one in the NE list stations infront of it(i service the adds so i know all the stations.) Whats got ya going up to ***(station).
Her: metting a friend
Me: So are you new to *(city)*
Her: Kinda yeah.
Me: blank.... thats cool.
couldnt think of any routine or dhv to apply here was compleatly unprepaird.

Well i share the feeling, you may know a lot of theory, but when it comes to applying it you cant.
Sadly i think you missed an opportunity there, with the new to city topic you could have dropped some C&F lines or tell her you could show her around. But i know its hard to do it right off the bat.
