My biggest troubles with the game are the beginning. So got a few canned openers, I know you want to move off the opener quickly, how do you transition from that?
Once im into the natural flow of conversation the rest of my game kinda just takes care of itself. But how do i get to that point with someone i dont know.

I can DHV through stories of experiences and what not, but i dont like that magic stuff and palm reading and whatnot. So i dunno, guess im just lost for the steps of where to really go after the opener.

what type of openers are you using.

Getthefuckouttahere. I don't even use MM and I can tell you that A2 = female-to-male interest. There is no "transitioning from A1 to A2" cos it just happens, it's like this... once you've reached a hook point (ie. they're talking about your opener and you're having a bit of a discussion), you're looking for IOIs from your target - which she should display throughout the course of you telling a DHV story and showing active disinterest and that kinda crap. You look for IOIs which you reward with IOIs (thus going into A3, or male-to-female interest).

God I hate that scientific shit, but there you go, I explained it anyhoo. You might wanna look into something which is a bit more natural if you're able to actually hold up a conversation with people. You're probably doing just fine right now but cos your mind is all clouded up with these "phases" and how to transition into them it's messing you up. If you've been in set and got to telling stories, teasing your target a little, you've already been in A2 and all you had to do was show some interest and isolate her.
