3 days later I get this text...
hi. i'm really sorry to be such a bitch to you. i'm not well at the moment and i guess that's the reason why i can't see you. hope you are not too angry with me, hmm maybe its good that you are angry with me....
i write back:
its ok. its your choice if you want to meet. I understand
bit of a lame reply in my opinion but maybe i could salvage this one somehow... any ideas would be most welcome..

There is a thread on the forums containing loads of text messages for all occassions if you're looking for a canned text message. Sometimes it helps to come up with your own original one though, but it's a good starting place for beginners to learn what to say and what not to say.
I think with your message you gave the power away immediately by saying it was her choice not to get in touch with you. I understand that you don't want to bust her as she was sick (although I've heard that one before, always a good get-out-of-jail card for girls to explain their flakiness). Tease her for being sick, neg her about being weak or something or she could have met you, you'd have worn a mask with a smile. Always keep it light heartened even if you're upset for them flaking on you, don't show your emotions too soon, it'll send them running for the hills.
