Couldn't find a place to fit this is, so i'll bring it here. I have this friend, who has had chances with plenty of girls (we're in highschool) but he ALWAYS finds some stupid reason to not pursue them and make a relationship. (Not to mention he turns into a total alpha-male, but major jackass/immature/jerk around any girls) It is so obvious that the girl wants him, one was a friend of mine and she even told me she stopped trying with him because it was boring. He told me he liked them but won't anything. Then I meet this girl, let's call her 1. So we're all out together and I meet this girl 1 and she's cute and really chill. Next day we go to 711 on our off hour, with my friend and a bunch of people. On the drive there I mention having people over to watch a movie and relax in the hot tub. I turn to ,1, and say "Your invited too! Want to come?" She says yeah and what not, and as we're getting back to school, I ask her for her number so I can call her for directions, or to give her a ride. She gives it to me and I think things are going good. Now my friend is doing everything he can just to be around her. I was talking to him and he said "As long as she's gonna be there I wanna come!". I just casually asked him if I could give it a chance with her, because that's why I invited her over. I explained to him that I wouldn't mind if it was his house, or if it was some random person's house. But since I invited her to this house i'm watching over break, I was hoping to get to know her better. He is being a tool about it and just trying to get me to back off. He always makes comment that suggest he's going to be making out with her, but he's never kissed a girl and he ALWAYS backs off from a girl that comes onto him, or any girl he is trying to be in a relationship with. I don't want to piss him off by going for it, but I don't know if I want to wait for him to go through his usual routine and bitch out. Any advice on what I should do, or how I could help get her?
