So HB whos interested in me comes over for movie and stays over. Theres Lots of kino, but No makeout session and beyond. We did however, share our feelings somewhat- She did so alot more than I did (actually i didn't so much). She did say that shes still not over her EX (she also said shes a BIG flirt, haha... but i've given the impression that I am also one myself)
She asked me about how i felt about the situation regarding her not over her ex, i said i didn't know (since i srsly didn't think much of it, LOL)
In the afternoon she asked me again, with 3 choices
1) dissappointed- give up
2) dissappointed- keep trying
3) doesn't care

I said "i think you know what the answer is *slight laugh/chuckle*"
HB: Dont care?
Me: *slight laugh*

Anyway, saw her again that night. I said I've though about it and said i'd take things slow-joe and she'd see things through
HB: And if i dont?
Me: Well, i might be slightly dissappointed, but Life goes on- it has to after all
HB: So i guess we'll continue the way we are

Then i talk to her friend and she says HB thinks things are "sorted out"-- she's not that ready for a relationship

Anyway- MY questions are:
1) Please point out mistakes- Shred me apart if you can, i like to learn
2) What should I do now?

Whenever I go out with a girl on a Day 2 or even a Day 1 for that matter. I don't care if they mention an ex once in a story because I'll probably do the same. As long as it's not a pity story on either one of us.

I have had a couple girls go on and on about their ex. Whenever I feel it getting to that point I cut her off and say:

me: "Listen, I got one rule"
hb wont know what you are talking about

me: "one rule which you have to follow"

HB: whats that?

me: (chuckle) I really don't give a shit about your ex. I can talked about my ex's all day long if you want me to, but I don't. Cool with you?"

It's never backfired on me. Obviously a girl on a day 2 is in to you and maybe just can't think of anything to talk about or just gets on one of those female rants. Just take charge and tell her you're not digging it.

Avoid talking about the ex at all costs. If she starts saying something about a boyfriend or ex or along those lines change the topic and try to get things back onto something light and fun. After all you want to her to be enjoying herself around you.

From here, I think you should avoid going further into friends zone. go out with her and go and approach sets together. Use her as a pivot. Be the cool guy she knows, not the friend she doesn't want lose

nono, there is no way im going to end up in the Friend zone (atleast not in the immediate future), since she's already expressed her interest in me. Also we've already gone out a few times, but most of the time its been with our friends together.

And she doesn't talk about her ex, she just mentioned him when she was explaining the situation shes in. (IE: She intersted in me, but not quite over her ex yet)
Anyway, so in the future if she brings him up, ill just say/act Im uninterested?
