I'm sure plenty of other newbies here can relate to this. I've read the .pdfs, I've lurked the forums and I've made posts asking for help on situations. I've learned all about what turns women off, what scares them away, what makes them lose interest in you, etc. But I still can't seem to find out exactly what I should be doing to make them BECOME interested in me, BECOME attracted to me, and like me enough to want to have sex with me and not just use me for attention. When I approach girls, I can use a canned opener to get a laugh, but it seems like nothing happens after that. Sometimes I get to do the cube or the strawberry test, and I get n-closes sometimes, but even then, the girl will never want to have anything to do with me after that. Perhaps all the material and different methods I have learned from MM, DYD, RJ, etc. have just clowded my head and I cannot fit it into my reality the right way. I think I'm aware of all the things I've done wrong, now I just need to learn what to do right, or what to do at all.

How about this: I'll start something and you guys add onto it or complete it.
Guy (thin, average looking, 20 years old) is walking down the campus and sees an HB9 he is interested in. Guy approaches her and says "Hey, I want a quick female opinion on something." She says "Ok"
Then, what's next?

Honestly, I think you know as much as you need to. For me, as soon as I knew what not to do, my game sky rocketed. Since then I have spent many many hours learning many different aspects of game, but my skills have not increased all that much.

Once you are consciously aware of what is wrong, then most of your development will come with practice, not with reading or studying. You know the basic outline, that is enough. You need to get out there and get your hands dirty if you really want to see yourself reach a higher level.

it sounds like you need to build rapport, using canned stuff and game in general should be used very little in my opinion. For the first few minutes use it, then build rapport by essentially switching game off.
You still have to remember to be alpha and not take any of her shit, as well as looking for IOI's and escalating but really you need to make a real emotional connection with the girl.

knowing what not to do isn't the same as knowing what to do and how to do it dude. yes, it's important to know what turns women off so that you dont fall into that trap but the only way to learn what to do and how to do it is through practice. lots of practice.
its a slow learning curve dude, but knowing what not to do definitely helps.

as for your question... the obvious next step would be to run the rest of your opener. she'll give her opinion and be on her merry way unless you say something else. so say something else. it's not that hard. notice something about her. ask her what she's studying or say "hmm, you look like a (insert course here) student" (which can be used as a neg too btw). AFC questions arent that bad for transitioning in campus game as long as you work in a bit of C&F and keep things a bit interesting. viola, you just transitioned from A1 into A2, so run your A2 material.

The thing is, I don't really know what my "A2 material" would be either. In fact, I don't know if I've ever even gotten to A2 while on campus. I don't know how or when to transition from the opinion opener to flirting or whatever.
