Being a conservative guy in a conservative profession, my peacocking options seem limited. I've thought about a ring. I've got a necklace thing of course my shirt must be off to peacock it. Clothes I could step up a notch. Business, but still set me apart. like blue shirts / white collars etc. maybe cuff links. shoes. don't know what else my options are. are there any?

Are you trying to run Game at work? If its at work and they are pretty conservitive. then i would recommend the rings and cuffs. and if you wear a tie something eye catching but yet wont break the rules of your work... (or more the less get you fired) get a ring that stands out and some cuffs. make it flasy soo you'll get the attention of both male and female in the office.

dude. peacocking at work? no. you shouldn't be running pick-up at work, ESPECIALLY if you're just starting off. you're gonna become known as the creepy pick-up guy.

i personally wouldn't *peacock* at all at work. it's just flat-out inappropriate, especially if where you work is conservative.

you also say that you're a conservative person. you do know you don't HAVE to peacock right? i don't. i just dress with really good style (think timberlake hahah), so i'm flat out dressed a little BETTER than everyone else, not WEIRDER.

but if you do wanna peacock, do it at the club. that's really the only place it's appropriate. seriously man...peacocking at work? peacocking is really just about sparking initial interest. and since you're "conservative," you probably won't be able to pull it off right away. you'll probably wear something that doesn't match your personality (incongruence), and girls will just think you're a socially inept weirdo. and you'll probably get AMOGed since you won't know how to retaliate.

the reason mystery and the love systems boys can pull it off is because they have the badass personality to back it up. if some douche tries to make fun of them, they know exactly what to say to tool him. the whole point of it is really just to get that initial interest. not appropriate for work. always dress appropriately for the occasion (and just a little better than everyone else).

no i don't mean peacocking at work. i mean just stepping up from a traditional blue or white shirt to mixing up my wardrobe. i'm sure you've seen those blue dresshirts with white collars. the point is to step up the class as opposed to just being another white shirt in the office. not tacky by ANY means. classy, not tacky. more current styles as opposed to old style wingtips would be anotehr example. it's simply enhancing the image that's being portrayed. but i often i will go after work, so i'm limited to nice suits/ties/shoes/shirts. i should probably invest/care a little more than to simply convey an average white or blue shirt every day.maybe mix it up once a week. natual. not weird or creepy. thx though. you make good points.

no problem man. sorry if i sounded harsh at all, just didn't want you to become the creepy pick-up guy at work. that would be bad, to say the least. and yeah it sounds like you're right on track with trying to dress better than everyone else haha. and it's really actually very easy because most guys just don't care or don't get it. so yeah just go to like a suit store, make a lady-friend there (employee or customer), and get her opinion on what she thinks looks good on you. who knows...maybe you'll end up making her night..lol.

oh and if you're hittin up the club right after work, just stash some club clothes in your car and change in the parking lot or work bathroom (whatever). i wouldn't wear a suit to the club if you're trying to pick up the girls there (makes you look all businessy and uptight). club girls are looking to get crazy and have a good time, and suit doesn't quite say that. in fact, it says quite the opposite.

but if you're trying to pick up girls from work that you're going to the club with afterwards, then stay in the same dress that they're in. if you jump into club clothes and they're all still dressed for work, you'll be the odd man out. it's all about being socially adaptable baby.

i am also beggining to change my wardrobe to a more peacock style. so far what i have found is that if your just starting out the game (like me), therefore changing your flirting technique AND clothing at the same time, best to do it slowly.

i have no clue where you live, but i live in the more "southern" part of America, and peacocking too much around my place can get you into some nasty situations with the locals...

so basically what im sayin is dont change overnight, do it slow...

Peacocking has been going on for years in the gay community. Just another step in the evolution of American men becoming totally gay.

Focus more on forcing the American broads to lose weight before you dedicate anytime to improving yourself.

Subtle, but different.

This is what peacocking should be. Mystery takes it to a level that he can pull off. But Joe Shit The Rag Man needs a little more subtlety.

I wear mainly t-shirts. Some with skulls, and some from tshirthell.com. Always get responses to them.

As for jewelry, rubber bracelet on the right wrist, studded leather wristband on my right. Three rings on the right hand. Necklace from Hot Topic that is made of chain. Chicks love grabbing the chain (Hands off the merch, this shit ain't free).

Just find what works for you. I used to do the hat thing, but I look badass enough without it.
