In a few weeks I will be attending a formal VIP event to celebrate my buddys 19th birthday (limo, fancy club, lots of vodka n girls etc.) and I would like some input on whether I should get certain acessories or not.

Heres some info about the look so far.

Im 6 foot 2
175lbs (athletic build)

Short black hair, cut n trimmed n messy on top


I Have black formal shoes, black dress pants, black dress shirt (nice material which is somewhat shiny), and I have an all black Punk style belt (the kind with rows of metal pyramids on it), and to top it off Im wearing a white skinny tie.

I was thinking about maybe some kind of hat? or fingerless knit glove or both?

anyone have some ideas?

You sound like me. Same height and weight and similar style. I also love having a white tie with the black dress shirt, it makes you stand out big time in the club. I honestly wouldn't wear a hat when dressing like that, unless you were doing a sort of Usher style thing with it tilted, but that is hard to pull off.

You are already dressed to impress so the best way to get more attention would to be to look like the life of the party. Be loud, talkative, happy, playful, and comfortable. If you can steal a scarf or sunglasses from a girl in the club then that would be a great way to peacock and an excuse for girls to approach you (as well as anchor the girl you stole it from).

Cool that sounds like some good advice, Im probably a 6 on the quiet (1) loud (10) scale, but maybe I can bring that up a bit at the party and still seem natural and cool =]
