I totally agree with Siko. However, if she's not into you, you can always follow Mystery's advice: stop talking to her for awhile, go out and reinvent yourself. Pick up some new, impressive hobbies, consider improving the way you dress, and then when you walk back into her life - do so with a girl on your arm. Try to shake the old image she has of you in her mind (hard to do since first impressions form lasting schema which we rely upon as a sort of measuring stick for subsequent behaviors/actions).

The trick, I suppose, is to just not get hopelessly fixated on one girl that doesn't return your affection. Either you're doing something wrong or there is something off with her. You can't change her, so work on yourself - either way you'll win simply because you'll be a better person for it.
