I seem to only talk to women at night when I go out to bars, parties, etc...I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with talking to women who are working in a store? I went to a cell phone store to get a new plan, and a HB9 greeted me and asked what I needed. We talked but only about what I was needing, and she sent me to the other worker...The store wasn't busy at all so I know I could have talked to her longer...What could I have done?

When I was about to leave I became an AFG and just said bye to her...ARGH

well from what I have read, it doesnt seem like you tried to initiate any sort of connection, you could have asked her to show you some phones and when she shows you one she thinks is cool, tell her in a funny cocky tone " wow is that thing a cell phone or a portable pay phone" that one has actually been field tested by me in a few scenarios and it has a high success rate of laughter and further talking. all you have to do is seem interesting, make her laugh and forget shes working, because after all being around you is the best thing shes going to get right?

thats the only way you need to think, I think some guys are too focused on techniques or routines, just talk to some one the most successful opner ive found is the standard hey hows it going, especially in settings like this
