Like I said in a previous post I #-closed a HB 8 a couple of nights ago. I already sent her a text message, not immediatly after I got her number but two or three days later. The message I sent was just a funny message in which I just make a joke about that night without asking her out for a drink or something.

The thing is, about an hour after I sent her the message, I got an idea for an even better message. I know it's already too late to sent this new idea to this girl, but I wanted your opinion about whether or not it would've been a good idea.

I was thinking of sending her a message on the line's of: "Hey "name of the girl"! I just realised I asked for your number on friday. Can you explain to me why I did that? I was a little drunk actually, but I'm sure there was somekind of reason. After all, I don't go out asking random numbers for no reason."

It's not that I wanted to sent that literally, but something on the lines of that message (be it less rude or more rude).

I wanted to let her know via text message that I can't remember that she's that special, but that there propably is a reason I asked for her number. The point being that I'm trying to give her a neg via text message. Is this a good idea?

I did kind of the same thing online too. There was this girl on my fb whose definiteley a blonde HB 10. She's constantly posting pictures of herself and all the other guys were saying things like "wow, you're so hot!" or "you look like a model!". So I posted a comment on one of her pics which says: "Is there something hanging out of your nose in this pic? It looks like a booger."

Are those ideas/actions of mine any good? Or were those negs just not done? Or is the concept of giving negs via text message or online not done whatever the neg is?

i'm no expert with negs, so if someone knows more about them than I do they can correct me, but yours sound a little harsh. A neg is just a disqualifier, not an insult. You've got to calibrate them to the type of girl, so stronger negs for hotter girls and vice versa.

Call up the freaking girl and neg her on the dam phone. Why are you choosing to use text?

You're propably right about calling the girl instead of text messaging her. It's just that I always used text message when I used to get a girl's number, for all the wrong reasons offcourse: didn't wanna push myself onto her, didn't want any awkward silences, wanted to see if she would send a message back,...It's a bad habit I should propably get rid off if I want to convince her that I'm the coolest guy out there. Thanx for the replies!

I understand that texting gives you that "safety blanket" feel, but if you ever want to get rid of the awkward silences and what have you talk on the phone. The more practice/experience you get the better you become at it.
