Basically, there's this cute girl who I'm pretty sure used to have a crush on me back in junior year of high school. I liked her too, but I didn't do anything about it because I was self conscious about being really skinny and unpopular and not having a drivers license (yeah, I know). She's very short, extremely shy and introverted, but also very sweet and friendly.

We're both 20 now and I recently got back in contact with her via Facebook. I invited her to a party and she couldn't make it, but said that she hoped to see me soon. She invited me to go to her mom's art gallery opening but that's way in October. I have no idea how to get romantic with someone who you used to know from a long time ago. It seems like it would be awkward if I saw her for the first time in 2+ years and started flirting with her. I'm not even sure whether or not she is still interested in me that way, or if there's something I need to do to re-attract her. Also, even though she is an attractive cute girl, she also gets picked on a lot by her friends (she hangs out with a mixed gender group of pretentious art fags), so I'm not sure whether or not teasing her, busting on her and being C&F would do me well. Anyone have experiences like this before, and/or know how to pull this off? I just can't imagine how I could express romantic interest in someone who I've never shown interest in before, and have it go well.

you have realized if it be good or not negging her thats a smart choice cause i know a lot of guys would do neg regardless....without thinking over the situation but remember when you get into conversation dont be afraid to talk say this or that...or you might just shoot yourself in the foot with not saying what you want and in turn then stumbling on what else you can say.....

so here is a simple way of telling how much or how little you need to c&f, tease and everything else....girls our rated on a scale

most guys mess up this scale too much, say for instance a guy is a 6 he sees a 5, of course he thinks damn she is a 8.5, so he treats her like an 8.5, problem?

your damn right there is....

he is treating the 5 like a 8, well the 5 doesnt get much attention like the 8, isnt as pretty as the 8, and isnt as self absorbed as the 8......

there is a occasion where this is wrong the 5 thinks she is high and mighty and the 8 is just shy and doenst talk much therefore not really acting all stuck up...

anyways though

basically what im saying is the 8 has been praised and the 5 hasnt as much or none at all.....

so if this guy go's up to the 5 and treats her like the 8, hey! he can pull it off, but more times then not if he negs to much, c&f, and everythign else she may start to think wow he is an asshole, or bad about herself......

what this guy should do is focus more on a playful convesation, tease her on occasion, and really just focus on getting her comfortable around the conversation...

so what im saying is the scale 1 to 10 is a good tool to use

if she is a 1 id put a hold on the teasing quite a bit and if she is a 10 crank that shit up.....if she is a five you should try and find a happy medium good conversation with a few comments her and there.....


now what you need to do......is look at this girls pictures on myspace, and think what the hottest guys in your high school, college or wherever would view her as....im not saying your ugly so get someone elses opinion im saying judge her looks based on others perspective...

so that guy who is a 6 and thougth the girl was an 8.5,,,if he wuld of took the time for a second and though hmm what would other guys think he would come to find out maybe she would be a 6, or a 5 but eithe way atleast now he isnt gonna treat her like an 8 or 9 you knw...

that guy came to realize she is a true 8 or 9 so i dont have to game her like one instead i should ease off just a bit on the teasing.....

also this way of thinking helps you tremendously cause i bet that guy who is a 6 and thought that girl was a 8.5 may of been thinking omg she is out of my league, she would only go talk to guys who are 10s and when he went to talk to her might of blew himself out of the water,

so by having him realize she is only a 5 or 6 he can settle down knowing, her standards arent as high as he thought, and no he isnt gonna get shot down if he talks to her and that she isnt all high and mighty and no the 10s wouldnt really talk to her there busy hitting on the 8s, basiclaly this girl is in your league and just caues you think she is hot doesnt mean she all of a sudden is a 10 and you have no chance at all


so anyways think of this scale and how hot that girl REALLY is and then judge what you conversation should be like when talking, but no matter the number there is always gonna be teasing and playful conversaiton involved its just to what degree of teasing that the numbers indicate 1 being not so much 10 being hell of a lot,

dont forget to act alpha around this girl and who gives a shit what they think bout you dont let your fear of what should i do and say control the situation if she doesnt like you for you why would you want to be with her

so in summary, judge her looks and then when you find her true number think of what amount of teasing and the type of teasing that would be best for conversation, view the area and the people around you and take that into consideration....so if your going to an art gallery dont be saying or cracking jokes but how bad art is....

and lastly act alpha, do and say what you want in accordance to the place your in, and what her true number is...

if you dont act alpha and tease on occasoin, seem fun and interesting, and just someone she would love to be around....


and you act instead like just a friend tagging along...what do you think you will be viewed as then.....maybe a friend???


so game her like you would any other girl, just keep in mind your in an art gallery, so make sure what your doing wont be viewed as rude and take in to account her real number and judge what the conversations should be like accordingly

If she's really shy then use the facebook chat to start with. Chitchat a little with her, like "how was school? Got any plans this week?" etc. And try to always listen to what she got to say. Not alot of boys know how to listen to a girl. But it's not hard, just read what she's saying and reply ;p And after a while she'll maybe start to talk about "secret" stuff, like "Y'know my last boyfriend, he was like....." bla bla bla. And then u can just listen and say like "ye, yes, yes, ye, yes" untill she's done and just give her a reply. And try to get her over to ur' house. And when u chitchat with her try to sneak in some compliments etc. Found out which categori of a movie she likes, f.example "Comedian, action". Then ask her over for an "Action" movie if she likes that, but make sure that she haven't seen the movie before. It will ruin a lot. Since then she wont pay attention to the movie, and that can be a problem. Especially on the "first date". But if ur' not into movies, then go to a restaurant or smth like that.

But since she's shy, it may be that she would say no since she's not comfortable by being around you yet. Then u just have to "Open" her and read her like a book. And how to do that is pretty easy. Chitchat. About everything, say smth u like and ask what she likes. And before u know it, she's urs again
