okay so a few days ago i had a class with this girl im friends with. just for fun i tried out my game and i think it was working. i kept negging and trying to use push and pull and defiantly got IoIs like her trying to write on my books and arms, touching me etc. we started listening to music and the jonas brothers came on her Ipod and this is what happened.

Her: OMG! joanas brothers bla bla... im gonna marry _____ Jonas
me: out of all the girls he has to choose from he would choose you? ( said with a cocky smile)

but i think i took this one too far lol because she tried to freeze me out. seeing as how im alpha i didnt let it phase me out and i started to talk to her friend sitting next to me (shes not very attractive so defiantly not a target). through out my convos with both of them either before or after that i made sure not to ignore her and kept her interested. then afterward we all started talking again and i went back and did a few negs. then this happened

me: (neg and make whole set laugh)
her friend: you 2 should go out
me/her:... (look around awkwardly)

now this just made everything awkward and i didn't know what to say...kinda got phased out
anyway clas was almost over so afterward we went our separate ways but what would be the best thing to do in this situation?

I often over-neg as well, it's a sticking point I am trying to fix. Basically you have to calibrate it so you don't bump a girl down when her perceived social value of her self is less than her perceived social value of you. Basically if you've established that you are better than her (or more attractive), don't knock her down more, build her up and send some statements of intent. It's easy sometimes to come across as an asshole and get too trigger friendly with the teasing.
