Hey all:

I met a girl last year right before I went abroad for six months. Now I'm back and going to start my third year in college. While I was visiting the college town two weeks ago I happened to run into her on the sidewalk while my friend and I were coming back from lunch. She immediately gave me a hug, looked genuinely happy to see me, and mentioned that she would like to do something after she got off work that night (but she ended up staying in and drinking with her room mates). That same weekend I happened to have lunch at the sandwich shop she works at with two friends. Within seconds of walking into the place, she had spotted me and called out my name with a huge smile on her face. Anyways...

She has a boyfriend (posted on facebook) but she has never mentioned him to me. She has also joined my fraternity's rush facebook group and has accepted my fraternity brother (who she briefly met at the sidewalk conversation) as a facebook friend - he doesn't even remember her.

I'm planning on walking into the sandwich shop later this week and asking her out. If her response is "I have a boyfriend" - how should I react and respond? If she accepts, what kind of date should I take her on (I already took her on a dinner then concert date - concert fell through though)? She's big into music so maybe try that again - maybe a nightclub?

I'm thinking I should ask her out for a specific date and event right - even mention that its a date to make sure I'm not in the friend zone, shouldn't I? Oh and I'm just going to order sweet tea at the place.

Any advice out there?

This is a great game as long as you dont have the "I only have eyes for you feelings". You can respond with - Oh so you are so independent as I never see you with your bf? an apha male would say - ok we can be discreet as I am sure you are strong enough to not be sucked into lables you know bf gf, besides its none of my business or his business what you decide is in your best interests. I just thought you were the kind of person that would reach for what you want. Have a go champ and let us know how it panned out.
